As the modern precision measuring equipment,the CMMs have been applied in many fields,like the industry of mechanical manufacturing,automobile,military,aerospace electric,hardware,plastic and ect.Its significance and board development prospects are obvious.It could not be used for the measuring of the dimension,shape and mutual position of the parts,such as measurement of spatial profilesof the boxes,guides,turbines&bladess,cylinders,cams,gears,bodies,etc.,but also could be used for scribing,centering holes,lithography integrated circuits,etc.,and can scan continuous curved surfaces.It is easy for the spatial three-dimention measuring and could realize the online automatic measuring.
Tips for Selecting CMM
The CMMs normally include five part:the host(CMM mechanical host),the probe system,the controller system,the software and the omputer system.After a better understanding of this five parts,it is easy to select the most suitable CMM for users.
How to select the best suitable CMM on our vebsite？
1.Measured Component Dimention
Our product models are named by its maxim measuring dimention.Here we take our FLY654 for example:6 refers to the maxim measuring range of Y axis is 600mm;5 refers to the maxim measuring range of X axis is 500mm;4 refers to that the maxim measuring range of Z axis is 400mm.Then it suggests that you could select this FLY654 model as long as your measured component is with the dimention of 500*400*300mm.And considering the probe rotation meausrement,each axis’both ends should be left 100mm for some feedback distance when measuring deep hole or some groove.And we suggest customer to contact our staff for deep communication for selecting the best suitable CMM.
2.The Measuring Required Acccuracy
CMMs are now widely used in various industries,such as automobile manufacturing,aerospace,aviation precision,machining,3C and precision hardware.In different fields,workpieces have different requirements for measurement accuracy.According to the different requirements of accuracy,we will have various probes for customers to select(commonly equipped probes include MCP,MH20I,TP20,TP200,SP25,SP80,PH20,etc.for customers to choose).
Please consult our sales staff for the detailed equipment plan according to the customer's precision requirements.For example,in the fields of aerospace and aviation precision,the requirements for measuring machines are relatively high,and it is more common to choose SP25 scanning probes with high accuracy,while some mold industries do not require too high accuracy.generally,the accuracy of MH20I and TP20 probes is sufficient.
3.The Drawings or Pictures of the Measured Components
Usually,when the customer first contacts the three-coordinate,he is at a loss as to which model to choose,so we suggest that the customer can send us the drawings of the workpiece to be tested offline,and we help the customer choose the appropriate three-dimensional model.Coordinate measuring machine and configuration.
4.Additional Accessories for CMM
When choosing a CMM,customers also need some additional accessories,such as measuring fixtures,air dryers,pre-filters,stable power supplies and other accessories,if necessary,we can provide quotations to customers as options.
