Measurement of Three point Locating Hole Diameter of Grinding Wheel for Camshaft
A widely used mounting hole for grinding camshaft grinding wheel is three-point positioning hole.The advantages of this method are:first,it is convenient to install and remove the grinding wheel;Secondly,the mounted grinding wheel has high coaxiality.According to the current measurement level,conventional measurement methods cannot accurately measure it;The use of CMM can meet the requirements of measurement accuracy.
Measurement of distance between CBN grinding wheel end face and circular arc
There are more and more special-shaped grinding wheels in modern machine tool processing,especially in the field of form grinding.The application of special-shaped grinding wheels is more extensive.The dimensional accuracy of the special grinding wheel itself determines the dimensional accuracy of the machining object.In the actual production process,it is impossible to accurately measure it with conventional measuring tools.This problem can be solved by using the space distance evaluation function of CMM.
Application of Reverse Engineering
Reverse engineering is a very convenient technology to realize mass deconstruction,production and secondary development of products.Its development sequence is opposite to the traditional product development process.First,measure and analyze the original product,then use CAD to establish the product model,and then properly handle the product model to produce new products.In reverse engineering,CMM is a very important equipment.It is necessary to support the digitization of the original product and the surface reconstruction of the product.
Any shape of superhard products is constructed from many surfaces.In reverse engineering,a series of surface point clouds will be obtained by scanning each surface of superhard products.On the basis of these surface point clouds and their discrete points,each individual surface is connected together through the auxiliary construction system of three coordinate measurement to complete the construction of superhard product model.
Through several application examples listed above,the role of CMM in the field of superhard material product detection at this stage is reflected.With the development of industrial technology and the requirements of modern machining on production efficiency,form grinding will be a huge development direction.As the product of the development of form grinding,superhard material products will also face many product innovations,and more and more special-shaped superhard material products will be born.In order to meet the requirements of the future inspection of the dimension and form and position tolerance of the special-shaped superhard materials and the reverse development of the products,the CMM will play an increasingly important role in the daily manufacturing and product design.
